The Plan

By providing new retail restaurant and office space for businesses, a vast array of opportunities become readily available in the City of York. The Market Street Revitalization Project tenants will contribute not only to the revitalization of the City and offer quality goods and services to residents and visitors, but will also help to create a pedestrian friendly, welcoming, family-oriented neighborhood that combines both living and working opportunities.

With the addition of 38 market rate apartments, known as REVI Flats, business owners, employees, empty-nesters and young professionals will enjoy the studio-style, one and two bedroom apartments that feature modern amenities and stylish designs that attribute to the historical character and architecture of some of the York City's most prominent buildings, all while overlooking the bustling Market Street corridor as the hub of Downtown York activities.

The former nightclub building will have 3,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, which will be home to a new restaurant and seven apartments on the upper floors. Four of the apartments will have one bedroom and three will be two bedroom - one of which is a penthouse suite overlooking Market Street. Construction began in August 2016.  23 REVI Flats is expected to be complete in Summer 2017.

Current plans call for renovating the building to include 21 apartments — 17 one-bedroom and four two-bedroom apartments. The building will also have a shared outdoor space for residents and a parking deck with spaces for 26 cars. Two 1,250-square-foot commercial spaces will be on the ground floor. Construction began in July 2016. 44 REVI Flats is expected to be complete by December 2017.

The project consists of seven retail/restaurant spaces along Beaver Street, as well as a large commercial space with frontage on West Market Street and eight one-bedroom apartments on the upper floors. Four of the apartments will be loft-style. The other four units will be flats on a single level. Construction began in May 2016. 9 REVI Flats was completed in April 2017.
